DoubleTree by Hilton Charlottesville

Good solid place to stay, the grill/bar is handy with good food choices, nice pool, easy location, comfortable room with frig and microwave, sufficient parking, helpful staff, excellent full hot breakfast, good coffee. Has a 24 hr exercise room with workout equipment.

The room was well set up except the bathroom

The breakfast was superb! Plenty of good entrees served in a classy location overlooking a wooded area behind the building. Food had a special look when served up in the surroundings we encountered. Tasty and healthy at the same time. I enjoyed the potatoes and scrambled eggs along w/turkey sausage. The coffee was plentiful and hot! The host was very responsive to questions and help with the layout. We ate at a weathered breakfast location down the street, with only one server/host who had so much to do that morning. Their price was only a few dollars less than Doubletree's price and the atmosphere was cleaner, newer, shinier at your hotel. Refills and choices made the Doubletree a real find!

The breakfast was what you would get as a free breakfast at most other hotels. Tasteless and gross quite frankly. It cost close to 20$ a person including tip so needless to say I wasnt very pleased. The coffee also tasted sour.

Hotel was your average hotel - expected more from Hilton but was nice
